When in Paynesville; a causal stroll along the waterfront boardwalk looking at all the lovely boats, and then over to Raymond Island via the ferry to see the koala population is a must.

Paynesville also provides a safe lagoon for swimming, good BBQ and parkland facilities for use by the general public and showers for visiting boaties. If you are visiting Paynesville by boat, a slow cruise through the canals and waterfront residential area is well worthwhile, also a visit to the educational Maritime museum is a must.
