The Paynesville Maritime Museum (PMM) is a small not for profit organisation who operate a museum display dedicated to the maritime history of Paynesville and surrounds.

The Museum is jam packed with relics dating back to the early 1900’s. A visit to the PMM is a great way to spend an hour or so, the displays are very educational and informative.

The PMM is staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers and researchers who collect and catalogue items and stories about the maritime history of the Gippsland Lakes.

A series of historical journals are published every 6 months and cost $15.00 per issue and are available directly from the publications sections on at the PMM website.

The PMM is open on the second Sunday of each month from 08:30 - 12:30 and is located on Raymond Street.
