Marine defibrillator (A special thanks to the Paynesville Community Opp Shop)

During the recent lockdown, GLCBC Vice President – Graeme Louden, was busy behind the scenes organising an application for funding from the Paynesville Community Opportunity Shop (located across the road from IGA) to enable the purchase of a marine defibrillator.

Thanks to his efforts, this application was successful and the club now has a mobile marine defibrillator. The GLCBC would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the Paynesville Community Opp Shop who are a local not-for-profit organisation that provides funding to community based not-for-profit organisations in need, or who in turn support the local communities of Paynesville, Raymond Island, Newlands Arm, Eagle Point, Bairnsdale and surrounds.

Please support them as they have supported us. The marine defibrillator will be a welcome addition to the GLCBC first aide kit that accompanies the event host on all GLCBC trips.
