The committee of the GLCBC would like to thank all members who participated in our November event “A day on the lakes”

We had a fantastic turnout with just over 50 members and guests who mustered at the southern side of Paynesville, before heading over to Steamer Landing as a huge flotilla for morning tea. Club members all helped out with the catering and brought along a nice variety of cakes and snacks to share and enjoy with a cuppa over a good old social chat and catch up.

Members then migrated over to Sperm Whale Head to take advantage of the excellent BBQ and parkland facilities where the GLCBC hosted a huge BBQ sausage sizzle and hamburgers for all. With the massive cook up underway, Sperm Whale Head smelt better than a Bunnings car park on a Sunday morning.

The GLCBC would also like to thank our guests from the Historic Port Albert Boat Club who visited our club for the day; we enjoyed your company and were proud to show off our backyard.

And finally, a special thanks to Keith and Kat from Riviera Meats in Eastwood for a good deal on the snags and burgers, also the Waterview Bakery in Paynesville for the bread. The GLCBC very much appreciate your ongoing support.
