Wattle Point is a medium sized jetty with an adjoining boat ramp and car park, located on the Northern Side of Lake Victoria and is part of the "Wattle Point Gippsland Lakes Reserve"

Wattle Point is a quiet scenic location about 1.5 hours boat trip from Paynesville @ 6 Knots on the northern side of Lake Victoria and offers sensational sunrise views across the lake during summer and autumn.

Wattle Point is also a very popular swimming location for locals and tourists with good shallow waters and easy access via road or boat. The shoreline is beach sand in places with green grasslands that are also well sheltered from the sun during summer.

The jetty facility is good and provides automatic lighting; however being relatively shallow can be a bit choppy during an Easterly, Southerly or Westerly wind.

Mosquitos can be a bit of a nescience at sunset and early morning, so packing a can of repellant is a must.

There are no facilities at Wattle Point, so visitors must bring everything, and take away all rubbish.
