Barrier Landing is one of the most popular destinations on the Gippsland Lakes.
Located on the eastern end of the lakes district towards Lakes Entrance, Barrier Landing provides a picturesque surrounding with very good jetty facilities, toilets and a short walk to the 90 Mile beach and ocean.
Barrier Landing also provides a nice beach and lagoon that is very a popular swimming hole in the warmer months in addition to prawning, fishing and an abundance of wildlife.

Caution must be applied when attempting to access the jetty during an incoming or outgoing tide. Very strong currents are present resulting in increased difficulty manoeuvring into position.
Dogs are allowed onto the beach at Barrier Landing, and signage indicates a lead must be used.
